About the Role
As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be the face of our company in the field. You will manage a route and transform landscapes across our service area, working primarily outdoors with a flexible schedule. Most specialists work 10-hour days, 4 days per week, with variations due to weather and customer needs.
You will perform precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. In this high-visibility role, you will act as a consultant and problem-solver, assessing lawn health and landscape needs while building rapport with customers. Adaptability is key, as you will pivot to snow removal and other seasonal tasks.
This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. We provide paid training and expect you to be eager to learn and grow your skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care services including mowing, aeration, tree/shrub care, pruning, and mosquito control.
- Manage a route of residential and commercial properties, transforming landscapes.
- Act as a consultant to customers, assessing lawn health and providing expert advice.
- Communicate clearly and kindly to ensure customers are happy and informed.
- Adapt to seasonal changes, including pivoting to snow removal in winter.
- Develop your skills through hands-on learning and training.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Motivated with a desire to learn.
- Passion for working outdoors and helping people.
No prior lawn care or landscape experience is required—we provide paid training!
Pay
- Starting wage: $18/hr.
- Expected average: $18/hr - $25/hr.
- Top earners: Earn an extra $15,000+ per year in performance bonuses alone.
- Weekly bonus potential: Most specialists earn a bonus every week.
