Lawn Care Technician / Specialist

Naturescape of Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Lawn Care Specialist to provide top-notch services for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is looking for a career in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business.

Responsibilities

• Manage routes and transform landscapes across the service area
• Perform tasks such as lawn care, aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care, and mosquito control
• Assess lawn health and landscape needs, building rapport with customers
• Communicate clearly and kindly to ensure customers are happy, informed, and confident in the services provided
• Maintain properties year-round, adapting to the seasons and pivoting to snow removal in winter
• Develop skills alongside a supportive team that values "learning by doing"

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Motivated with a desire to learn

Qualifications

• Fully licensed in the state of Iowa with Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification in categories Core and 3T (Turf Pest Control)
• Paid training provided

Pay & Schedule

• Starting wage: $21/hr
• Expected average: $21/hr - $28/hr
• Top earners make an extra $15,000+ per year in performance bonuses
• Weekly bonus potential: $750 bonus at 4 months if already have Core & 3T at time of hire
• Overtime opportunities are frequently available
