About the Role

As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be the face of our company in the field, managing a route and transforming landscapes. Your work directly enhances customers' properties and pride in their homes. You will serve as a consultant and problem-solver, using your training to assess lawn health, build rapport with customers, and communicate clearly about landscape needs. Adaptability is key, as you will pivot with the seasons, including snow removal in winter.

This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. We provide paid training and expect a willingness to learn. You will work alongside a team that values "learning by doing," growing your skills as the company invests in your future.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision lawn care, including aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care, pruning, and mosquito control
• Manage a route of residential and commercial properties
• Assess lawn health and landscape needs, providing expert recommendations to customers
• Communicate clearly and kindly with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Adapt to seasonal changes, including snow removal in winter
• Develop your skills through hands-on training and experience
• Maintain a high-visibility role as the primary point of contact for customer questions

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Motivated with a desire to learn
• Passion for working outdoors and helping people

No prior lawn care or landscape experience is required—we provide paid training!

Pay & Compensation

• Starting wage: $22/hr
• Expected average: $22/hr - $29/hr
• Top earners: Additional $15,000+ per year in performance bonuses
• Weekly bonus potential: Most specialists earn a bonus every week

Schedule

• Typically 10-hour days, 4 days per week (varies due to weather and customer needs)
• Full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions available
• Flexible scheduling
• Opportunities for snow removal and other winter work
