Lawn Care Technician / Specialist
About the role
Naturescape of Muskego, WI is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. Are you looking for a career in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business? Would you like to be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team?
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility is to be the face of our company in the field. You aren't just performing manual labor; you are managing a route and transforming landscapes across our service area. You will typically work 10-hour days, 4 days per week (with variations due to weather and customer needs). While most of the world is stuck behind a desk, your "office" changes daily. You'll navigate to residential and commercial properties, where you'll complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
You take pride in the "before and after," knowing that your work on a lawn and landscape directly enhances a customer's home and their pride in their property. You are more than a technician; you are a consultant and a problem-solver. Because you work in a high-visibility role, you are the first person a customer sees when they have a question about their landscape.
Requirements
We don't expect you to walk in the door knowing the difference between species of turfgrass or the nuances of aeration timing-we expect you to be hungry to learn. You are part of a team that values "learning by doing." Whether you have previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower, you bring a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to be coached.
