About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform professional lawn care applications including fertilization, weed control, and pest treatments
- Diagnose turf issues such as weeds, insects, disease, and nutrient deficiencies
- Recommend appropriate treatment plans and additional services based on lawn conditions
- Communicate directly with customers to explain services, answer questions, and provide guidance
- Manage a daily service route independently and efficiently
- Accurately complete service documentation, product usage logs, and site notes
- Ensure compliance with all safety, chemical handling, and state regulations
- Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and PPE
- Assist with training and mentoring entry-level Lawn Care Technicians as needed
Requirements
- We're looking for a Lawn Care Technician II who takes pride in quality work and customer service.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of professional lawn care, turf, landscaping, or horticulture experience
- Strong knowledge of lawn care products, application techniques, and turf health
- Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working independently and managing a route
- Clear, professional communication skills with customers and teammates
- Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
