Lawn Care Technician

About the role

As a Lawn Care Technician, you will provide uncompromised service to Lawn and Ornamental customers by evaluating and diagnosing lawn and ornamental needs. You will use hand and powered equipment to apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides.

Responsibilities

• Run your own route independently while maintaining a company vehicle and all provided equipment.
• Schedule and keep appointments with customers, discussing the issues they are experiencing.
• Conduct thorough property inspections to identify insects, weeds, fungus conditions, and other conducive conditions.
• Determine the source of problems and explain treatment plans to customers, including diagrams or graphs as needed.
• Complete services, collect payments, and suggest additional beneficial services to customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass the state of Florida's Best Management Practices exam for lawn care and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing.
• Able to pass internal technical exams.
• Possess a current Driver's License and maintain a driving record consistent with company standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work a minimum 40-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends as needed.
