LAWN & GARDEN DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT

About the role

The Lawn & Garden Department Assistant is responsible for maintaining the landscaping and grounds of a large residential community. This includes mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and performing general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns and trim hedges as per schedule
• Plant and care for flowers and other plants
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning gutters and painting structures
• Assist with special events and projects as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform manual labor
• Knowledge of basic gardening practices
• Basic computer skills (email, internet)
