Law Firm New Client Intake and Conflicts Analyst- Remote

About the role
We are seeking a New Client Intake and Conflicts Analyst to join our Administrative team. This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement. Preferred candidates will have experience working in an administrative role in a claims department in the insurance industry, or in a similar role handling conflicts checks and opening new files/clients at a large, multiple-office law firm. Aderant experience is also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate information secured during the intake process to ensure accuracy and adequacy prior to opening a matter in Aderant
- Professional and prompt follow-up with attorneys and administrative staff for additional information or clarity as needed
- Ensure the consistent entry of accurate information, including the application of accurate rate sets, in Aderant during the intake process consistent with firm protocols
- Conduct timely and accurate conflict searches in accordance with firm policies and procedures
- Conduct timely and accurate opening of matters upon submission of appropriate information to the Business Intake Group
- Address requests that come to the New File Requests and Aderant File Maintenance Outlook groups
- Contribute to the maintenance and updating of information in Aderant as needed
- Assist in the intake process during the onboarding of new attorneys or the transfer of new business to the firm
- Appreciate and understand the impact that the work of the Business Intake Department has on other departments and the firm overall
- Receive cross-training and assist other departments as needed
- Assist with special projects and assignments as needed
- Complete reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis
- Respond politely to internal staff, clients, vendors, etc., and work as a member of a team
- Accept change in a productive manner
- Perform other duties as necessary or assigned
Requirements
- Possess excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Possess excellent organizational skills and pay close attention to detail
- Must be able to read and write in English and use arithmetic skills accurately to complete required daily projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis in Excel
- Must possess the ability to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in accounting or related field
- 2-5 years of related work experience required

Pay
The annualized salary range for this position is $45,000-$70,000. Actual pay will be determined based on total and relevant experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses and a full benefits package, including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and flexible spending.
