Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Able to exercise sound judgement and render immediate, appropriate decisions, under stressful conditions.
- Maturity in conduct behavior and attitude.
- Able to take orders, follow instructions, accept and assume responsibility for one’s actions.
- Alertness, attentiveness, and professional conduct.
- Able to recognize, respond and take appropriate and corrective actions to various situations.
- Strong moral character. Must possess high standards and be truthful.
- Able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing in English.
- Courtesy in inter-person relationships with the public, airport employees, tenants, law enforcement and security personnel.
Requirements
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and support screening or checkpoint operations in accordance with location policies and government-related requirements.
- Able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Assist with traffic control, incident response, and coordination with site contacts and/or public agencies during emergencies, operational disruptions, or unusual events.
Qualifications
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay
$28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
