About the role
The Law Clerk II position is responsible for providing legal research, drafting documents, and supporting attorneys in various legal matters. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of cases, statutes, and regulations relevant to assigned tasks.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Manage case files, maintain records, and ensure confidentiality of client information.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a legal office setting.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
