About the role
Laurel Plays is a comprehensive development program providing AmeriCorps Volunteers with job training, leadership development, and an appreciation for higher education through service in the City of Laurel's Parks and Recreation Department.
Member Duties
- Keep parks, ball fields, pools, and downtown clean and upkept
- Provide swimming lessons and lifeguard duties
- Prohibited activities are listed in the volunteer service agreement
