LAUNDRY SERVICE (FULL TIME)

Location: Ochsner Baptist Hospital - 2700 Napoleon Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115

About the role

Perform laundry services including cleaning and distributing linens to clients. Contribute to team efforts and professionally interact with clients, customers, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Properly sort, wash, and dry linens following approved laundry procedures.
• Fold, count, and stack linens following approved laundry procedures.
• Collect soiled linens and redistribute clean linens.
• Transport supplies, including clean and soiled linen, to appropriate storage and collection areas.
• Provide quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail.
• Routinely inspect linens for wear and tear, identify worn and torn linens, and follow Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens.
• Maintain commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs.

Pay

Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time schedule. 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Days may vary. Further details upon interview.
