About the role
We are seeking a full-time Laundry Production Manager to oversee daily laundry operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily laundry production operations.
- Collaborate with various departments to support seamless operations and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain systems for managing resources, inventory, finished goods, delivery processes, quality control, and accurate data entry.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with Eggleston policies, contract requirements, OSHA, HLAC, DMHMRSAS, CARF, DARS, and applicable regulations.
- Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop direct reports and floor supervisors.
- Promote a safe work environment by training staff on equipment use, preventive maintenance, cleaning, safety checks, bloodborne pathogen standards, infection control, and incident reporting.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, equipment failures, concerns, and operational barriers.
- Maintain quality standards for washing, drying, finishing, folding, packaging, inbound shipments, and outbound shipments.
- Monitor production metrics, employee performance, staffing levels, schedules, time studies, quotas, and process improvements to increase efficiency and control costs.
- Prepare production reports and maintain accurate operational records.
- Attend required training, support team-based services, and comply with safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license or identification card, or ability to obtain one before employment.
- Proven experience in production services in a commercial laundry, hospitality, manufacturing, or production environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships.
- Knowledge of commercial laundry service best practices, and regulatory requirements such as HLAC and OSHA.
- Leverage lean manufacturing, efficient production, effective quality control, or continuous improvement experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and production management software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience
- Proven experience in production services in a commercial laundry, hospitality, manufacturing, or production environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Customer service experience required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships.
- Knowledge of commercial laundry service best practices, and regulatory requirements such as HLAC and OSHA.
- Leverage lean manufacturing, efficient production, effective quality control, or continuous improvement experience.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Performing the duties of this job requires near visual acuity, the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds, and gross manipulation.
- Must be free of tuberculosis in a communicable form.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to complete tasks that require a full range of motion to include pushing/pulling, crouching, stooping, or reaching at/below shoulder level and overhead.
- The noise level in the work environment will vary.
- While working with individuals with mental/physical disabilities, exposure to physical risks from behaviorally challenged individuals and contact exposure to human pathogens and/or biohazards is possible.
