Laundry Assistant

The Laundry Assistant is responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of patient and house laundry, ensuring an adequate supply of clean clothing, linens, and other needed items for patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of patient and house laundry areas.
• Provide clean clothing, linens, and other items to patients, families, and staff.
• Monitor laundered items for needed repairs.
• Adhere to State and Federal regulations, company policies, safety, and infection‑control standards.
• Respond to requests from supervisors, patients, families, and staff in a positive manner.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cleanliness standards and ability to perform a variety of laundry duties.
• Willingness to learn and follow applicable regulations and policies.
• Enthusiastic team player with a passion for delivering great customer service.
• Professional appearance, conversation, and behavior.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment screening and physical examination.
• Completion of required orientation and training.
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Exposure Category II (no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues; may require unplanned Category I tasks).

Schedule & Pay

Part‑time evening shift, 2 PM – 8 PM. $15.00 per hour.
