Laundry Assistant

As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of patient and house laundry, playing a key role in the satisfaction of patients, their families, and staff by providing an adequate supply of clean clothing, linens, and other needed items.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness and sanitation of patient and house laundry
• Provide an adequate supply of clean clothing, linens, and other needed items
• Monitor for laundered items needing repairs
• Adhere to all State and Federal regulations and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and other applicable standards
• Respond to a variety of requests from supervisor, patients, their families, and staff
• Interact positively with patients, families, staff, and supervisor

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cleanliness standards and ability to perform a variety of laundry duties
• Willingness to learn and follow required applicable regulations and policies
• Desire to be an enthusiastic member of a small team
• Passion for delivering great customer service
• Professional and appropriate in appearance, conversation, and behavior
• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
• Able to pass physical examination for gainful employment within the facility
• Satisfactorily pass required orientation and training
• Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions

Pay & Schedule

• Part Time: 9am–2pm
• $12.75–$13.50/hr
