Laundry Aide - Part-Time - Evenings

Essential Functions

• Follow established policies/procedures of laundry tasks.
• Use proper protocols for picking up soiled linens, including isolation linens, and transporting them to the laundry department.
• Use proper protective clothing/equipment while performing laundry duties.
• Maintain all cleaning schedules for each assigned area and following the laundry department schedules.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents rights, privacy and property are protected at all times.
• Report and document resident and/or visitor incidents, accidents, complaints or allegations according to the facility’s policy and procedure using the designated occurrence reporting system.

Qualifications

• The ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Able to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc in excess of 50 lbs.
• Able to do constant walking, bending, lifting and standing for long periods during a scheduled shift.
