Laundry Aide / Delivery Driver

Experience is not required, but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places it into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, keeping them neat, orderly, and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts Customer Service First: ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes individual needs and rights.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
• Ability to work independently.
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.
• Must have or be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a health card.
