Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Experience in healthcare settings is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills are necessary

Skills

• Ability to follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
• Knowledge of proper reporting, isolation, and handwashing procedures/techniques
• Ability to wash, dry fold, and hang laundry
• Ability to label Residents' clothing
• Ability to return Residents' laundry within 8 to 24 hours
• Ability to perform daily cleaning tasks in the laundry department
