Laundry Aide

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Inspect and treat stains on garments before laundering
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Keep track of inventory and report any shortages or damages
• Assist with delivering clean laundry to guest rooms when needed
• Perform terminal cleaning procedures
• Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to your supervisor
• Report all accidents immediately

Requirements

• Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of all areas
• Perform regular inspections of resident rooms for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties
