Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
• Select tooling, adjust offsets, and optimize feeds and speeds to maximize efficiency and part quality.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary machine and program adjustments.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
• Perform manual machining operations when required.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes in a fast-paced job shop environment.
• Experience with Fanuc and/or HAAS controls preferred.
• Strong understanding of feeds and speeds and the ability to optimize machining performance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T.
• Strong shop math skills.
• Working knowledge of reading and editing G-Code.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pin gauges.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Manual machining experience.
• Experience with vertical turning lathes (VTLs).
• CAD/CAM knowledge.
