Late Night POD Campus Supervisor - U of Mississippi-Twin Towers C-Store

About the role

The Food Retail and Brand Location Supervisor oversees the food service operation, ensuring appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served. This role requires supervision, training, and management of the food service staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of setup, breakdown, and sanitation of workstations
• Supervision of cooking and preparation of food items according to recipes and brand requirements
• Maintenance of safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage environments
• Accurate inventory tracking according to departmental policies
• Delegation of tasks to employees as needed
• Performance coaching and feedback to staff members
• Assistance with manager-led employee counselling sessions, timekeeping, and contact information maintenance
• Training and mentoring of other food service workers
• Ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a positive demeanor
• Maintaining adherence to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation
• Effective communication with staff via various methods (email, phone, inter-office mail)

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related field preferred
• Prior experience in the food and hospitality industry required
• Strong team player and ability to promote teamwork
• Excellent leadership, time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technology systems
