Last Mile Manager

About the role

The last mile manager plays a pivotal role in managing relationships with construction managers, acting as a key advisor to logistics team members from the construction manager's perspective, and overseeing special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with construction managers to ensure alignment of logistics operations with construction timelines and requirements.
• Collaborate with Logistics Manager to develop and evaluate on-site storage solutions.
• Develop and implement process maps, training, and communications for KHDS logistics changes that impact construction managers.
• Advise and collaborate with other logistics team members to integrate construction manager perspectives into logistics planning and execution.
• Visit warehouses and liaise with their team to solve logistical challenges.
• Complete additional special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in relevant area (production/manufacturing, logistics preferred).
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in logistics management.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a construction manager.
• Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license. Ability to travel ~30% of the time to various cities across the United States.
