Responsibilities
- Independently set up and operate laser tracker systems.
- Perform complex part inspections and large-scale alignments.
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing principles.
- Develop and execute measurement plans.
- Conduct deviation analysis and support corrective actions.
- Generate detailed inspection and alignment reports.
- Assist in training Level I operators.
- Troubleshoot measurement and equipment issues.
Requirements
- Mission Readiness: Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- 3+ years of laser tracker or portable metrology experience.
- Strong Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing interpretation skills.
- Experience with metrology software.
- Experience in large production environments preferred.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, technical documentation skills.
Qualifications
May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly. May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
