Larson Maint Tech II-2nd Shift

About the role

Provide support for overall maintenance duties and responsibilities on the 2nd shift production schedule (4:00 PM – 2:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Perform electromechanical analysis and repair of multi-functional equipment.
• Maintain facilities upkeep, including grounds, building, fixtures, and general maintenance.
• Support routine equipment maintenance for safety, quality, and preventative maintenance needs.
• Assist with maintenance shop activities within scope of authority to gain experience for advancement.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on schedule.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed and spare parts are accurately maintained for rapid problem response.
• Evaluate equipment malfunctions with urgency to minimize downtime.
• Modify equipment to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
• Perform tasks to meet or exceed internal customer requirements.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication duties.
• Follow and promote on-the-job safety expectations, including eye, ear protection, and lock-out/tag-out (L.O.T.O.).
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards.
• Test equipment after repair and leave it and the area in a clean, safe condition.
• Train operators on the proper use of equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Technical degree in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic circuits, PLC, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• PLC software experience preferred.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is provided upon request. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. Employees will also participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
