Large Loss Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage large commercial and residential restoration projects from start to finish
• Cook up emergency response efforts for fire, water, storm, and catastrophic losses
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
• Communicate directly with property owners, insurance adjusters, consultants, and contractors
• Oversight mitigation, contents, reconstruction, and specialty restoration services
• Maintain project profitability, job costing, and budget performance
• Ensure accurate documentation, daily reporting, and compliance with industry standards
• Lead field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and timely project completion
• Participate in catastrophe and storm response opportunities throughout the Southeast and beyond
• Assist with business development efforts and maintain key client relationships

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in fire and water restoration
• Experience managing large commercial losses ($250,000+)
• Strong understanding of mitigation, drying, demolition, reconstruction, and insurance claims processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Able to travel for large loss and catastrophe assignments
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, CDS, OCT)
• Xactimate proficiency
• Experience with commercial estimating and project scheduling software
• Previous experience managing multi-million-dollar restoration projects
• Knowledge of large-loss documentation and insurance carrier requirements

Qualifications

Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or relevant degree.
