Large Format Production

About the role

This position involves working with large format digital printers, UV flatbed printers, roll to roll printers, vinyl printers, laminators, and flatbed routers. The role includes executing print/production and packaging of signage ranging from simple small signage to complex sign assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Produce jobs on multiple machines and various printers using shop tools and equipment.
• Prepare and apply vinyl, including setup, weeding, cutting, taping, trimming, and mounting to substrates.
• Perform banner-up installation, grommet/hemming, and other finishing functions as needed.
• Ensure products are produced in a timely manner and prioritize projects accordingly.
• Determine materials needed and stage them for jobs.
• Work closely with the Sales and Production departments to meet deadlines.
• Manage and optimize workload, prioritize multiple projects, and streamline the production flow.
• Manage regular basic maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed work environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in large format digital printing.
• Strong computer and internet skills (multiple platforms).
• Expertise with Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
• Able to manage and optimize workload, prioritize multiple projects, and streamline the production flow.
• Demonstrate extreme attention to detail in design work.
• Skilled in copyediting/proofreading and desktop publishing.
• Able to lift objects/rolls up to 50 pounds.
• Must be an energetic self-starter who is driven to succeed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
