About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Large Format Digital Press Operator to join its growing production team. This individual will play a key role in producing high-quality large-format graphics while ensuring projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with advanced digital printing technology in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate large-format digital printing equipment to produce high-quality graphics.
- Review production files and verify artwork prior to printing.
- Select appropriate media, substrates, and printer settings for each project.
- Monitor print quality and make color adjustments as necessary.
- Troubleshoot printing issues to minimize downtime.
- Complete finishing tasks including trimming, laminating, mounting, and packaging.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain production records and inventory of materials.
- Follow quality control procedures throughout production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with production team members to meet customer deadlines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience operating large-format digital printing equipment.
- Experience within a commercial print, signage, graphics, or production environment.
- Strong understanding of color management and print quality standards.
- Experience with RIP software preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple production jobs.
Pay
$23 - $28 per hour
