What You'll Do
- Support the organization by gathering, analyzing, and reporting on key business data as part of the Business Data Governance team preparing for Large Financial Institution (LFI) status
- Collaborate with a team dedicated to developing, testing, and executing data for LFI readiness
- Develop business requirements to support LFI readiness as required by FRB regulations for a Category IV institution
- Provide input into Technology's deliverables to ensure implementation success
- Perform UAT testing to ensure accuracy and integrity of data
- Manage and participate in workshops to flesh out and problem-solve requirements, defects, or questions
- Understand Federal Reserve rules (FR 2052a, FR Y-14, FR Y-15) and reflect changes in business requirements documents
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reports delivered to internal stakeholders
- Regularly update and optimize existing reporting processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and relevance
- Perform analysis on datasets to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data validation and regular quality checks
- Partner with teams across the business to gather data requirements and understand analytical needs
- Use SQL tools for querying and analyzing data
- Maintain documentation of data sourcing processes and methodologies
- Develop data visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights effectively
What You'll Need
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or another related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis or a similar role
- Strong willingness to spend significant effort learning Reg YY and other related regulations (FR 2052a, FR Y-14, FR Y-15)
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and other commercial banking products and services
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Intermediate experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with project management and managing multiple priorities and deliverables
- Proficient in handling and interpreting large datasets
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
