It supports educators and school system leaders across more than 40 states by delivering evidence-based instructional and curriculum resources. About the Opportunity:The Language & Literacy Content Specialist will contribute to the development of research-based educational materials and professional development programs focused on language and literacy. This role supports educators by creating high-quality content that enhances literacy instruction and promotes equitable outcomes for diverse student populations. 3. Responsibilities:• Write and edit content for professional development programs and resources in language and literacy.• Develop engaging, culturally responsive content aligned with adult learning principles.• Manage content development from drafting to final delivery, adhering to project timelines.• Research evidence-based practices and literacy standards to keep content current.• Collaborate with subject matter experts and product teams to ensure content alignment with instructional goals.• Proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency with organizational standards.• Incorporate feedback to continuously improve content quality.• Support the organization’s mission to provide equitable and accessible literacy education. 4. Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Literacy, Linguistics, or related field; master’s preferred.• Minimum of 2 years’ professional content development experience for educator audiences beyond a single classroom or district.• Experience in product development environments preferred.• At least 3 years of successful teaching or coaching experience in English Language Arts.• Expertise in Science of Reading, structured literacy, and language acquisition.• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.• Effective organizational and project management abilities.• Ability to collaborate across teams.• Proficiency with G-Suite, Zoom, and educational technology tools; familiarity with Asana, Jira, or LMS/CMS is a plus.• Commitment to literacy education and equitable student outcomes. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Annual salary range: $95,000 to $113,000.• Competitive salaries based on experience and education.• Benefits include take-as-you-need vacation, group medical, dental, and vision plans, disability and life insurance, and an employer-sponsored 401(k) with a 5% employer contribution and no vesting period or salary cap. 6.
