PURPOSE
Aid teachers with various instructional, clerical, student management, and daily life activities for special education students in special education or general classrooms.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Flexible to meet the changing needs of students
- Strong tutorial skills
- Ability to relate well with students, staff, and parents
- Strong desire to see young people succeed
- Positive attitude
- Ability to complete tasks independently
- Strong office computer and oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of child guidance principles and practices
- Basic instructional methods and techniques
- Willingness to supervise students in community settings
- Participation in training provided by the Special Education Department

School year
Work Hours: Shifts typically occur within the hours of 7:15am and 3:30pm. Exact start and end times may vary based on school needs and position hours.
