About the role

As a Landshark Bar Back, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, stocking the bar and keeping the area clean and organized. You’ll support the bar staff at our busy lakeside Landshark Bar & Grill, helping to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Stocking bar with ice, liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes, glassware, utensils, cocktail napkins, garnishes, etc.
• Assist bartender in re-stocking and maintaining par levels of those items.
• Check taps and appliances to confirm they are working properly.
• General cleaning, wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to guests and other staff members.
• May be required to mix or pour drinks as needed, depending on individual ability.
• Must be able to take orders, prepare drinks, buss tables, open tabs, and process payments, especially during peak hours.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Personal Skills

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.
• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Consistently maintains a positive demeanor.
• Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Adheres to Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort uniform, grooming, and appearance standards.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds.
• Being on feet for an entire shift, possibly 8 hours or more.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing.
