Landscaper/Groundskeeper (Seasonal) | Sleeping Lady

About the role

Maintain the landscaping grounds and other general upkeep. Ensure the security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance and repair of all department tools, equipment and safety features are in accordance with established procedures. Ensure all work areas are kept in a clean and orderly manner and storing all tools, equipment, and spare parts in proper location. Responsible for the proper treatment and care of tools and equipment used to perform tasks. Reports and addresses unsafe conditions immediately. Other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping grounds and general upkeep
• Ensure security, cleanliness, maintenance, and repair of tools, equipment, and safety features
• Keep work areas clean and orderly, store tools, equipment, and spare parts properly
• Properly care for tools and equipment used to perform tasks
• Report and address unsafe conditions immediately
• Complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• General understanding of landscaping
• Knowledge and ability to operate tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
• Flexibility to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations

Qualifications

Must have a general understanding of landscaping. Must have knowledge and the ability to operate tools, hand tools, and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $17.50-$18.50 DOE
