Landscape Technician or Crew Member

About the role

A Landscape Technician reports directly to the Landscape Crew Leader and will be dispatched to do landscaping work from various locations as defined by the yearly landscaping schedule for Kinsley Properties buildings, farm land and sites. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience or more.

Responsibilities

• Mowing and weed whacking of properties
• Trimming plant material, weeding, and planting as directed
• Installation of lawn materials and flower bed items to include mulching
• Erosion and sediment control work to meet municipal regulation
• Misc. landscape crew equipment maintenance and cleanup as directed
• Other duties as directed by Landscape Crew Leader
• Arrive on time at the predetermined place for assigned work to be completed
• Multitask to stay productive and on task when different tasks arise during the day
• Be responsible for company tools, both in proper use and maintenance

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Willingness to learn and perform various landscaping tasks
• 3+ years on-the-job experience

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM with some fluctuation depending on the season. Expected hours: 40 per week. Some overtime may be offered.

Pay

$19.00 – $21.00 per hour
