Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Become an important member of our landscaping crew.
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation.
- Install, maintain, and replenish landscaping beds and display areas.
- Trim trees and bushes.
- Knowledge of construction is a plus.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent damage or injury.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Schedule may vary, and you should be available to work weekends.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of experience directly related to the essential functions.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and other employees.
- Organizational skills to keep track of multiple jobs and the materials needed.
- Basic mathematical knowledge.
- Operate a wide variety of hand tools and power tools in a safe and effective manner.
- Read and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Check one’s own work for quality and mistakes.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- A valid New Mexico driver's license, vehicle insurance, good driving record and reliable vehicle.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- This position requires frequent manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination, such as handling of equipment.
- Will have repetitive hand motions and prolonged periods of standing.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to high.
- 50% of work is performed outdoors, exposure to the elements, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and other weather conditions.
- Must be able to travel (10%) within the metropolitan area.
