Landscape Maintenance Manager

About the role

Vive Exterior Design is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Manager to lead their expanding maintenance division, focusing on high-end residential landscapes and outdoor living. The ideal candidate should have a strong horticulture background, excellent plant knowledge, and experience managing maintenance crews and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the landscape maintenance division
• Work alongside the crew to perform landscape maintenance, seasonal cleanups, and plant care
• Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and service plans
• Train and mentor team members, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols
• Conduct site evaluations and recommend improvements
• Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and resource management for the maintenance division
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless execution of projects

Requirements

• Horticulture background (formal education or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong plant knowledge and understanding of landscape maintenance best practices
• Experience managing landscape maintenance crews and client relationships
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Ability to work in the field alongside the team while managing client expectations
• A valid driver's license is required
