Landscape Gardener - Driver

About the Role

This is a non-exempt position responsible for performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled landscape tasks as part of a crew of three or more, helping maintain Homeowner Association landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash
• Blow and pick up debris
• Trim tree suckers
• Weed flower beds
• Spot spray weeds in granite areas

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be licensed for at least one year
• Must pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) review
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Must be able to follow company safety policies
• Must be able to pass E-Verify
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Must have a positive attitude
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not mandatory

Working Conditions

• Work is outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels.
• Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped or uneven surfaces.
• Move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Incumbents serve an introductory period of 90 days. This employer participates in E-Verify and conducts drug testing.
