Summerhill Landscapes is seeking Forepersons to join their Landscape Construction and Maintenance teams. The firm values a collective approach built on over 300 years of field experience and 64 years of horticulture education.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew members in the installation/maintenance of material as per company standards.
• Ensures that all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment.
• Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
• Ensures that all equipment is operated safely, and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Supervises all crew members during the performance of all assigned work.
• Reports for duty at the designated location on time each day.
• Follows directions from supervisor.
• Ensures that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to.
• Maintains a clean and safe job site.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape construction and maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
• Strong communication and supervision skills.
