Landscape Designer I, Planning / Landscape Architecture
About the role
Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Landscape Designer position in our Richardson, TX office. The role supports all phases of public and private sector projects, from field reviews through design development, construction plans, and post-design services. Responsibilities
- Provide landscape architectural and planning project support
- Work directly with landscape architects, civil engineers, surveyors, project managers, and contractors
- Participate in site inventory and analysis
- Assist with project research and data compilation for use in the design process
- Produce conceptual site planning and graphics (hand and digital), schematic/preliminary design plans and graphics, design development, and construction document plans and details
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution
- Experience with SketchUp and Lumion is preferred
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and highly motivated
- Ability to travel periodically, primarily within the state, to support project needs
