About the role
You’ll work alongside senior leadership on projects from concept design through construction administration with an emphasis on production of both graphics and technical documentation. From large-scale campus plans to mixed-use commercial complexes to small-scale intimate courtyards and plazas, our diverse portfolio allows for accelerated learning and provides well-rounded experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and production of projects from conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
- Prepare conceptual design concepts using a variety of hand-drawn and digital techniques
- Design and build models in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Prepare digital graphics and renderings with Adobe Creative Suite and presentation software
- Research zoning codes, entitlement process, and permit requirements to ensure compliance
- Remain current with Local, State, and Federal design standards and regulations to ensure compliance
- Maintain general knowledge of planting design and plant material suitable for the local region
Requirements
- Landscape architectural degree (one-year professional experience or internship preferred)
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience in all phases of landscape design and planning
- Proficiencies: AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
