Landscape Crew Leader/Foreman

Job Summary

A Landscape Crew Leader is a supervisor position responsible for executing landscape plans, managing projects, and developing productive relationships with customers. Essential functions include:

• Executing projects such as hardscapes, outdoor lighting, and landscape/lawn installations from a landscape plan.
• Managing the entire scope of projects including job layout, materials, and required paperwork.
• Using various equipment including skid steer, mini excavator, sod cutters, bush hogs, brick saws, transits, and hand tools.
• Driving a commercial vehicle and pulling a trailer.
• Managing, developing, and effectively communicating with a crew.
• Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
• Supervising a snow zone during the winter including managing crews, location, and quality control.
• Following all company policies and procedures.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record to meet fleet insurance standards.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
• One year of experience leading landscape crews.
• Advanced mowing equipment experience.
• Previous experience setting up commercial mowing sites, preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new software programs.
• Able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently.

Work Conditions

• Employees should be able and willing to drive or travel locally if needed.
• Schedules may vary and require flexibility to work extended hours.
• Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities.
• This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold, or heat.
