Landscape Construction - Hardscape Foreman
Groundhog Landscaping in Derry, NH is seeking a full-time Landscape Construction - Hardscape Foreman to join our dedicated team.
About the role
This position offers competitive hourly pay of $25-$28, with a typical work schedule of 6:30 am to 4:30 pm. All service areas are within 30 minutes of the office.
Your day starts with a team huddle to review plans and blueprints, followed by leading your crew through tasks such as setting pavers and building retaining walls. You’ll ensure work aligns with design specifications, operate and maintain tools, and communicate progress with clients. In winter, you’ll oversee snow removal and salting operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew in hardscape construction projects, including pavers and retaining walls
- Review blueprints and ensure work meets design specifications
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction
- Oversee snow removal and salting operations during winter months
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in landscaping construction and hardscaping
- Proven experience as a foreman or in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of hardscape construction techniques and materials
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
- Must pass a background check and drug screening test
