Landscape Construction Estimator

Responsibilities and Duties

Assists with and manages project plans, take-offs, estimating, job set up, job cost tracking, and job close-outs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience estimating preferrable in landscape, irrigation, and hardscape projects.
  • Experience in reading commercial blueprints.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to review bid documents and communicate with General Contractors to define an appropriate scope of work to be bid.
  • Analytical skills to review subcontractor bids and vendor quotes.
  • Ability to coordinate bidding of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Composure to manage and meet tight deadlines.
  • A meticulous approach to estimate reviews, as well as careful and detailed work habits to ensure estimate accuracy.
  • Good general computer knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word), experience with Planswift and Procore a plus.
  • Capacity to work with clients and team to produce competitive base bids, as well as appropriate alternatives and bid revisions.
  • Must be detail-oriented, quick learner, problem-solver, able to self-manage, and willing to learn.
  • Knowledge in landscape, trees & plants is beneficial.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Pay

$22+ DOE
Sign on bonus negotiable.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday – Friday
  • Overtime when needed
  • Russian Orthodox Holydays off
  • 40 hours PTO offered per year (Negotiable)
