Landscape Bed Maintenance-Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaped areas and plant material on residential and commercial properties. Pruning, mulching, weeding, cutbacks, and cleanups on a regular schedule and as needed.
• Auxiliary work with landscape installation and tree work as needed/seasonally.
• Work independently and collaboratively on a team while caring for customer properties.
• Interact professionally with customers on a daily basis, communicating the process and expectations of services.
• Possess a general knowledge of plant maintenance practices.
• Continuously receive on-the-job training for all aspects of RYAN provided services and recommendations for other RYAN services as needed on their property.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3 years’ experience in landscape plant maintenance or related field
• Horticulture degree preferred
• Working knowledge of plant identification, proper pruning, and common issues by species
• Commercial applicator's license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day
