Landscape Architect Intern

Responsibilities

• Planning and designing the development of land areas for projects such as parks, recreational facilities, airports, highways, and commercial, industrial, residential sites.
• Assisting in the design of parks, plazas, and other public open spaces for cities, counties, colleges/universities, and other public sector clients.
• Collaborating with a progressive multi-disciplined team in Mississippi and assisting teams in other locations within the company’s nine-state footprint as project and client demands dictate.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or Master of Landscape Architecture.
• Professional registration in Mississippi or track to achieve registration, preferred.
• 0 – 4+ years of experience with land development planning and design, preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Photoshop, Sketchup, and other design-related software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
