About the role
At Yardscapes, Inc., we are seeking an experienced landscape architect or landscape designer with 5+ years of experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate will design projects for high-end residential new construction and remodeled properties.
Responsibilities
- Select and design projects for high-end residential new construction and remodeled properties.
- Schedule on-site client meetings and design discussions with clients.
- Manage and implement the design plan through site visits.
- Collaborate with architects, builders, and interior designers.
- Follow up with clients after project completion.
Requirements
- Landscape Design: 5 years of experience required.
- Sales: 5 years of experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in hand drafting, coloring, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, and QuickBooks.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Experience with landscaping tools and techniques.
Skills
- Design and implementation of custom residential outdoor spaces.
- Ability to work collaboratively with architects, builders, and interior designers.
- Knowledge of natural stone and hardscape elements.
- Experience with water features, patios, retaining walls, lighting, custom pools, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and fire pits.

Pay and Schedule
- Compensation includes base salary, commission on sales and project completion.
- Pay range: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year.
- Job Type: Full-time.
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
- Supplemental Pay: Commission pay.
Work Location
In person. Ability to commute/relocate to Bloomington, MN 55420 is required.
