Landscape Architect
Responsibilities
- Prepare site construction documents for public and private projects, including parks and recreation, education, commercial/retail and single family.
- Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Exception applications.
- Assist with conducting public meetings and workshops.
- Site/civil development including construction site plans, grading design, storm water management systems design, landscaping, erosion and sediment control design, and construction details using Civil 3D.
- Familarity with storm water design a plus but not required.
- May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning.
- 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture.
- Registered Landscape Architect preferred but not required.
- Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
- Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, GIS/ArcView and Power Point.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview.
