• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in New York
• Prior housing court experience, including landlord‑tenant matters such as evictions, holdovers, non-payment proceedings, and related motion practice
• Experience defending landlords, property owners, or management companies preferred
• Strong litigation skills, including court appearances, legal research, drafting pleadings, and motion practice
• Able to manage a high-volume caseload effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
