Associate Attorney – Landlord-Tenant/Habitability Litigation
What You’ll Do
- Handle landlord-tenant, habitability, and related civil litigation matters throughout California
- Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, case evaluations, and client correspondence
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on California housing, habitability, and civil litigation issues
- Represent clients in court hearings, case management conferences, mediations, and other litigation proceedings both remotely and in person
- Assist with depositions, witness preparation, and trial preparation
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of landlord-tenant, habitability, or related litigation experience
- Active California bar admission required in good standing
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting with partners, associates, paralegals, and law clerks
- Strong oral advocacy, deposition, case management, and client communication skills
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and multiple case assignments in a fast-paced environment

Salary commensurate with experience: $120,000 USD - $170,000 USD
