Landing Gear Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out incoming, in process and final inspections on landing gear assemblies and components.
• Ensure all inspections are completed in accordance with OEM manuals, CMMs, FAA/EASA regulations and company quality procedures.
• Identify defects, non conformances and required repairs, producing accurate inspection reports.
• Verify component traceability and ensure all maintenance documentation is completed correctly.
• Work closely with technicians, planners and quality personnel to maintain production schedules and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Previous experience inspecting aircraft landing gear within an aerospace MRO environment.
• Strong understanding of FAA and/or EASA Part 145 requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals and component maintenance manuals (CMMs).
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality workmanship.
• FAA Airframe licence or equivalent inspection qualifications would be advantageous.
