About the role
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DoD Secret level clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide program management support to the U.S Navy’s Amphibious Assault and Connectors Program’s engineering team
- Keep track of high priority tasks and drive issues to resolution
- Aid customer with managing overall workload and establishing and maintaining processes
- Become familiar with the SSC, LCAC, and LCU command and control, data processing, engineering control, navigation, and internal and external communications systems
- Serve as the primary LCU C4N interface to the customer
- Serve as the secondary SSC/LCAC C4N interface to the customer
- Collaborate with the SSC/LCAC C4N lead to accomplish required tasks and manage overall workload
- In support of SSC, LCAC, and LCU program milestones, provide oversight for C4N improvements and expansions of hardware (HW) and software (SW), participating in design reviews, helping induct items into the program change process, and dealing with relevant documentation
- Assist with coordination between the C4N team and the Cybersecurity teams on both the Serco and customer side in support of achieving Authority to Operate (ATO) through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
- Interface with key stakeholders across the program to communicate
- Develop online databases, status updates, and metrics as requested
- Provide technical and programmatic assistance for production and post delivery change cost and schedule impact, shipbuilder technical instruction statement of work (SOW) development and contract data requirement list (CDRL) review
- Assist in development and review point papers and white papers
- Participate in design reviews
- Provide administrative support to brief technical issues and maintain technical baselines
Qualifications
- The ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a Secret security clearance
- A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
- Three years of relevant experience
- A strong communication and program management skills
- The ability to learn shipbuilding acquisition, design, production, test and trials, and configuration management
- The ability to provide analytical support
- The ability to travel up to 10% for work purposes
